Jim’s small, neat inscription, “SEE YOU SOON,” is
telling, foreboding and a deeply philosophical when
one stops to consider our mortal inevitability.  When
I first noticed it I thought the remark was funny and
chuckled.  Now I see his irony as a dire warning.

This marker isn’t exactly funny; it’s clever, unique and
capricious.  Notice the lovely, old coupe on his brass
plaque beside his inscription, “JUST ONE MORE CAR.”  
Joe’s marker made me stop and wonder about his hobbies
and interests--and his life.
